During this month, I’ve decided to try something new. I decided to try something I’ve always wanted to try but had yet to experience completely. On May 5th, 2014, I attended my first yoga class.
I’ve done a little bit of yoga here and there from a DVD I had purchased, but I never went to a group class. This experience has changed my life.
It hasn’t even been a full month and already I can see such a difference in myself. I’m more relaxed, I don’t get as emotional as I used to – I feel my body, mind, and soul energy all coming together in balance.
I wish words could explain how yoga has affected me. I’m very excited for the month of June because I will participating in a 40 day program at my yoga studio. It will be 40 days of yoga, meditation, and healthy eating. It’s not a diet program – it’s a life changing cleansing of the body, mind, and soul energy program.
My goal is to successfully complete the program and keep a journal of it here. Until then, I may document my journey up to the 40 days. I think it will be interesting to see changes in my mind and soul energy. The changes in the physical body are a plus, but I’m more excited for the internal body chan
