One week of the #fiveminuteyogachallenge is in the books. Yesterday started a new moon, so I did some manifesting as my practice. Today, I did some poses I haven't done in a while. I forgot how much I enjoy eagle pose. Take five minutes to do something for you today. Days 2 and 3. Yesterday I was so busy that I took 5 mins just to sit after my workout at the gym. Today I practiced one of my favorites, crow pose. I also did some hip openers after my workout at the gym. It's pretty neat to see how just 5 minutes has been changing my days. I know it has only been 3 days, but I feel more productive and I have more of a positive attitude throughout the day. Soooo I'm starting a 5 minute yoga challenge. Every day for the next 30 days, I'm going to challenge myself to get on my mat and practice for just 5 minutes. I've been out of a regular yoga practice for quite some time and I decided that I just have to start...so today I challenged myself to get on my mat for just 5 minutes. By the end of the 5 minutes I wished I had more time to practice. I also like that I can practice at home in my pajamas in the privacy of my own home and not feel judged for how out of yoga shape I am. So now I'm going to challenge myself to practice for at least 5 minutes every day to really get back into the yoga flow.
